Midnight Bean and Orange Cherry Tomato Salad with Lemon Cumin Vinaigrette
A gorgeous box of seasonal, organic produce is delivered to the electronic cottage each week. Many of the vegetables are new to me. As I search blogs and cookbooks for ways to use this bounty, I'm posting the dishes here so I can remember them in the future.

$24 worth of veg from farmers market. Comparison shopped vs CSA box. Seems comparable.
Organic strawberry sorbet with rosemary. I Infused rosemary in the simple syrup.
Fresh corn off the cob salad: just corn, tomatoes, green onion, avocado, fresh basil, a splash of olive oil and sea salt. SO good.
Tonight we’ll have a Midnight Bean and Sweet Potato salad with corn and heirloom cherry tomatoes. Ah, sweet summer. The pretty, shiny beans are from Rancho Gordo.
Some spooky mushrooms in the CSA box last week. Went into a stir fry. They tasted like…mushrooms. ;)
